COM 275
Description: This course will provide students with an opportunity to observe and participate in intercultural communication in a large North American metropolis that is both ethnically diverse and multilingual. COM 275 combines the theoretical and conceptual framework of communication studies with a practical application of those principles in a city and a country that is committed to the idea of multiculturalism as a means of promoting cross-cultural understanding. Outside of class activities will encourage intercultural communication between students and members of Montreal's diverse cultural communities.
