Description: Environmental law is one of the most dynamic and exciting areas of law, and it plays a pivotal role in protecting the personal health and welfare of all people, guiding economic development and business life, and shielding our most precious natural treasures and resources from misuse or harm. Students examine a representative selection of federal statutes and regulations including, but not limited to the National Environmental Policy Act, the Endangered Species Act, and Clean Water and Air Acts.

Prerequisite: 60 completed credits and Legal Studies Major or Minor or Environmental Policy Major
