Description: This hands-on course covers the current virtualization options for systems and network administration. Through hands-on activities students will gain a working knowledge of virtualization. Topics include history and concept of virtualization, installation and configuration of virtualization technologies, utilization of common commands and graphical user interfaces, utilization of resource pools/domains/and zones, user/group management and integration with different types of virtualization, and applying security while designing and administrating these infrastructures.
Prerequisite: NETW-250, NETW-255, or NETW-260
