Wireless Application Design and Development

SDEV 200
Description: Designing applications for mobile devices is considerably different than for desktop computers. Screen size and system resources are limited and users interact differently with the devices. This course provides an overview of information architectures available for a range of wireless devices. Special emphasis will be placed on the implications of platform fragmentation on the design and development of applications among a wide variety of wireless devices. In a hands-on project students will design and develop a web application for use on both desktop and mobile computers.
