Event Management Practicum

EVT 295
Description: Students gain first-hand knowledge and experience by completing a series of activities encompassing the planning, execution and management of special events, from initial concept development to post-event evaluations. Students work with the course facilitator to identify a series of brief field experiences with planners of several on- or off-campus events, in order to observe and participate in each function on the checklist. Students also document and reflect on these learning experiences.
