Conflict Intervention Skills

Description: Students will learn to use tools, techniques, and strategies used to assist parties in problem solving and conflict engagement. We will explore various theoretical frameworks and approaches to conflict and learn to identify when specific tools might be most useful within any given framework. This course will serve as an introduction to reflection in practice for building competence. This is a 6-credit course and has a 4-day residency. There is significant, synchronous work online.

Prerequisite: MED-501. Take MED-502
