Family Mediation

Description: Students will explore the scope and practice of family mediation. They will examine the challenges of court-referred family mediation and also of business or estate-planning mediations. Students willieam and apply tools for analysis and intervention for family mediation. Because this type of practice requires interfacing with the work of other professionals such as attorneys, accountants, financial planners, alcohol and drug counselors, and therapists, students will also consider effectively working with those professionals. Requires a 2.5-day residency.
