Allied Health, Introduction to

RAD 100
Description: Introduces the student to the field of health care and the basic skills required of allied health practitioners. Students will write responses to problems depicted in case studies of the topics of the health care delivery system, medical ethics, legal implications of practice, and communication techniques. Students will perform the basic skills of vital signs, body mechanics, trasfer activities, infection control, and medical gas therapy.
