Description: This course provides students with an introduction to the development and implementation of social policies. Key factors to be addressed include how decisions are made in the public arena, formulated into laws, and developed into programs. It considers the political, economic and social factors that affect social policy.

Prerequisite: Must complete 50 credits before taking this course.
