Mobile Forensics
CFDI 310
Description: Students will learn to properly identify, preserve, examine, and analyze data extracted from a variety of mobile devices, and report their findings. Course content will include an overview of cellular network technologies, mobile forensic artifacts, tools, and equipment, and extraction techniques (beginner to advanced) such as Joint Test Action Group (JTAG), In-System Programming (ISP), and Chip-Off. Students will also be exposed to cloud data extraction and analysis techniques as well as drone forensics.
