Description: Data visualization is all around us - in scientific papers and news articles, fitness apps, and car dashboards. This course covers theory, techniques and tools for data visualization, with a focus on clear and effective communication. Students will learn about human perception, color theory and graphic design concepts that inform chart selection and creation. Finally, students will learn to design and implement interactive and animated visualizations that encourage users to explore the data for themselves.
