Description: Technical Art brings together programming and art, relying extensively on an artist's knowledge of workflow, tools and art-production practices in the area of 3d graphics production. By combining this knowledge with a foundation in programming, students write tools and develop art pipelines to be used personally by other artists, and production teams. This course requires no previous knowledge of programming and covers the creation of custom tools and associated user-faces in a 3d software environment.

Prerequisite: 60 Credits and GAA-235, minimum grade C.
