Backpacking

Description: Rechniques of planning and organizing a backpacking trip. Basic instruction includes clothing, equipment, and environmental awareness. Includes one overnight backcountry trek. Student grades determined bu class participation and participation in the practical exercise. Open to all first-year and sophomore students. This course is held at UVM.
