Nonprofit and Social Marketing

Description: Nonprofit and social marketing is geared toward furthering a cause, raising money, and moving people to take an action and change behaviors. Students will learn to apply marketing techniques and tactics to nonprofits and to social behavior change through an integrated Service Learning project where they will help a nonprofit with their marketing efforts or work on a social behavior change campaign. Students will reflect and critically examine ethics, civic engagement, and the value of marketing to further the goals of nonprofit organizations and to support behavior change.

Prerequisite: MKT-110 or BUS-120. Must complete 30 credits before taking this course.
