Health Psychology

Description: Students will learn about the application of psychological principles and research to the enhancement of health and the treatment and prevention of illness. The course will address social conditions, biological factors, personal traits, and lifestyle patterns as they relate to health and well-being. Students will focus on their own life-style choices as well as understanding how to use psychology to influence the life-style choices of others.

Prerequisite: Complete 57 Credits, and SCI-115 or SCI-140. Take 3 Credits from Subject PSY. Take 3 Credits from subject PSY, Level 200.
