Printmaking Studio

ART 312
Description: Printmaking, the original graphic art, is how images have been reproduced for hundreds of years, a history you will have learned in GDD-220. In this studio course you will learn how to both create and print from original plates by techniques of relief printing, etching, and lithography, offering first-hand experience with the challenges and rewards of making multiple copies of original artwork through traditional means. Contact hours per week: 4.

Prerequisite: ART-110 or ART-135 Graphic Design and Digital Media majors only.
