Professional Skills in Sustainability

Description: Through an approach similar to the nationally recognized Eco-Reps program, this pro-op/practicum provides the opportunity for students to develop technical, interpersonal, and conceptual skills such as project management, systems thinking, research, community outreach, leadership and change management, further preparing students for the growing green jobs market. Students will apply skills and aptitudes developed in the classroom and engage in hands-on work by designing and executing sustainability projects to raise awareness about ecological issues and promote environmentally responsible behavior on campus and in the greater community.
Prerequisite: Complete 15 credits
