Seminar in Criminal Justice

Description: An in-depth examination of selected topics related to effective policing such as, but not limited to, the issues of recruitment, retention, excessive force, corruption, civilian review boards, community-based policing, allocation of resources, cultural diversity, participative management, job stress, and program budgeting. Emphasis is directed toward leadership and executive development. Project paper or comprehensive examination required for grade.
