Linux/Unix Programming

CSI 230
Description: Students gain experience configuring and using Linux/Unix operating systems to perform user and administrator tasks, such as partitioning disks, configuring file systems, and managing users and groups. Students learn how to automate complex tasks with scripts and scheduling, how to use command-line tools to perform filesystem operations, and how to control and monitor processes. Students also write various programs within Linux/Unix development environments.

Prerequisite: Complete CSI-140 with a grade of C or better.
