Description: This course provides a comprehensive study of investments and financial markets by having students create their own hypothetical investment portfolios. To manage their portfolios, students will learn about equity, fixed income, and option securities and the markets on which they trade. Students will learn security valuation models and the foundational rules and regulations governing the securities markets and their operations. Students will have the opportunity to take the Securities Industry Essentials? (SIE?) Exam.

Prerequisite: Take 30 credits.
