Description: Students will explore the characteristics of healthy relationships, combining theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, case studies, and group discussions. Students gain knowledge about relationship dynamics, protective/risk factors, harmful behaviors, and legal/healthcare/ social interventions. The course integrates a person-in-environment framework, ethics, trauma informed care and cultural awareness strategies to enhance resilience. Students will be empowered with the knowledge and emerging skills to assess the strengths and identify risks in relationship dynamics and respond effectively to harmful behaviors.
